In the Meantime
So a friend asked me “Tiffany, why haven’t you posted to your blog in a couple weeks?”
Yikes. I thought I had after my 16 but honestly I have been having so much fun that I haven’t done much of anything lately. The 16 was followed by a bbq on my friend Matt and David’s roof then the week got nuts.
Did a Monday workout with Mr. Trainer man and then hit the US Open with my friend who is about to give birth so soon! It was a great day and the next day I got to see an evening session of tennis and had the pleasure of sitting courtside to watch Andy Murray play. Well, I started in my usual row Y (those crazy high seats where you get altitude sickness) and through a friend got to take over her super amazing seats!
Wednesday I had a million things to do and managed to get in 5 miles right before I mom came. Loved the run at dusk on the water. It calmed me down and then we went straight to dinner with friends and the Bride and Groom to be.
Thursday I thought I had work but thankfully they sent me home so I could go shopping and have lunch with my mom. That night we grilled Alaska salmon on Matt and David’s roof and got ready for the big trek to Long Island.
I picked up the ZipCar on Friday morning after giving the puppy to the boyfriends parents. I love ZipCar but this one was a little jacked. Thankfully we made it to Long Island in one piece and I had my bridesmaids lunch and mani pedi session before going to my hotel to get ready for Jess and Jordan’s rehearsal dinner!
So then the big event… WEDDING. Amazing. Beautiful. Bridesmaids dress fit great and I felt like my running really paid off in the body department. Of course I was celebrating so had a lot to drink and eat. A lot.
The next day my running buddy David said that our dancing was just like running a 5 miler which I loved. I felt a bit guilty I had gone off schedule a bit but I ate some more at the brunch and jumped into the ZipCar to CT to play with my boyfriend’s family and eat some more.
Oh yes. Eating. Tennis. Eating Tennis.
But thankfully the boyfriend pulled me off my well fed booty to do 6 beautiful miles in CT. We got a solid pace going and ran some serious hills. All is well in the world. Wednesday I am doing my 18, a little off what I was planning but gotta get it done because Thursday is…
Ok, so I will blog a bit more this week but it is hard. My mom and boyfriend are here and since I usually blog out of the fact that I am alone in my apartment it is hard to get anything done with a full house 🙂
Happy Running Everyone!
